Siemian works out sprained shoulder
Denver Broncos (4-0, 1st AFC West) Head Coach Gary Kubiak has not yet decided who will start at QB this Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons (3-1, 1st NFC South) after his starting QB Trevor Siemian went down against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last weekend. Siemian, who was injured after taking a sack from the Buc’s Clinton McDonald, resumed practice this Thursday.
“I trust Trevor. He knows exactly what we’re doing and he’s very bright. He’s on top of everything,” Kubiak said Wednesday. “He’s a part of the walk-throughs and everything that we’re doing so he’s on top of everything. We’ll just see where he’s at physically.
The Broncos welcome the 3-1 Falcons who are coming off a 48-33 shootout victory over the Carolina Panthers. Gary Kubiak for one is impressed with the Falcons offense led by his former student Offensive Coordinator Kyle Shanahan.
“Kyle is as sharp of a guy as I have ever worked with. He’s exceptional at attacking defenses and knowing what he wants to get done. We all know how he grew up and being around ball all the time,” Kubiak said.
